Polycultured is an herbal apothecary and artisanal goods store focusing on longevity, holistic wellness, body literacy awareness, and preventative health. We believe in the power of building relationships with the living beings around us. Every product we create is hand-crafted in small batches, with care and intention. Our ingredients are ethically foraged, most of them coming from our farm and wild lands on a seasonal basis. We follow traditional folk methods of extraction that honor the time-tested and experiential knowledge of herbalists before us. And we’re always researching how these herbs are being studied today. We’re here to be your trusted allies, dedicated to supporting your wellness journey with sustainably sourced, high-quality botanicals, mushrooms, and other farm-based artisanal products.

Handcrafted Herbal Remedies with Heart
We’re more than an apothecary — we’re a community. Our passion for herbalism goes beyond creating our products; we’re dedicated to educating and empowering others to take charge of their health and to live in commune with nature. By foraging many of our ingredients and using time-honored folk practices of extraction, we ensure that every item we make is infused with freshness and quality. Your well-being is our priority, and we take pride in our offerings, from our hands to yours.

Herbal research
We blend ancient wisdom with modern knowledge. Our team researches worldwide, sharing information on herbal pharmacology, permaculture, and sustainable living to bring awareness to methods that are both evidence-based and ethical. We’re here to share the knowledge that can help you lead a healthier, more balanced life. We’re not interested in being the biggest herbal company — we’re focused on being the best, by offering education and sharing our passion with a personal touch.
The people behind the preparations
-
We're a chef and a community gardener who got our start as urban farmers and foragers in NYC. With over a decade of collaboration, and some global exploration, we've created a variety of small batch artisanal goods and herbal products, with a passion for understanding the rhythms of nature.

A: The herb that most changed my life would probably be wild carrot. At a time where you can feel so vulnerable, this herb is so comforting. It made me believe in the power of herbalism to alter your trajectory.
B: Mugwort, it may have saved my life!

The chef's passion for food, herbals, and spices began long ago with a fascination with cooking that runs deep through his entire family. He continues to experiment, constantly harvesting and tasting the wild and cultivated fruits the land has to offer.
The gardener suffered chronic pain and looked for answers outside the medical system, hoping to find another way to manage the condition. She ended up pain free and more aware of her body.
Together, we are trying to do our part to make this world more just and more kind, with our community living a high quality of life. We move with careful action towards our goals of community care.
